TWISTED SISTER To Release 'A Twisted Christmas Live' DVD

TWISTED SISTER's Dee Snider and Jay Jay French recently stopped by the VH1 Classic offices to present Autism Speaks/Cure Autism Now with a check for $17,000. The check represents the proceeds from TWISTED SISTER's "A Twisted Christmas", the rockin' holiday album that enamored both critics and fans alike.

"A Twisted Christmas" features rock n' roll versions of beloved Christmas classics including "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", "Deck The Halls" and "Oh Come All Ye Faithful".

The album's success prompted demand for a live DVD of TWISTED SISTER's take on Christmas. On September 25, Razor & Tie Entertainment will release "A Twisted Christmas Live", a DVD of the band's holiday 2006 show at New Jersey's legendary Starland Ballroom. The DVD will feature performances of tunes from "A Twisted Christmas", as well as TWISTED SISTER's greatest hits.

Formed in 1976, TWISTED SISTER ruled the radio airwaves and MTV in the 1980s with such monster hits as "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock". To date, the band has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, boasts 34 silver, gold and platinum certifications from 8 countries and has toured in 22 different countries. TWISTED SISTER has given over 9,000 performances in their thirty-year career.
